torsion balance to experiment with gravitors

The current balance of torque at my disposal is too "dull" she starts moving from 140mg, I'll make another more simple and sensible design basing on T.T.Brown, I accept ideas about it, thanks

My current revolving balance is not very sensitive, for that reason I build this other model more in line with the original torsion balance T.T.Brown


The sensitivity can even be improved by placing one or more plastic spacers between the magnet and the steel ball

the length of the arms also increase sensitivity.

With the steel metal wire arm can return to its original position, thus is possible to measure the strength and duration of the impulse, the wire length determines the sensitivity.

From what you have posted, your balance is merely suspended by the magnetic attraction on the steel ball. You will find that it will be quite sensitive and must be carefully balanced or it will wobble and possibly fall.

Been there.....done that.
