From what I read, it appears that the Three Stooges films of various types, kept an ailing Columbia Studios from going under. The popularity of Moe Howard and his partners in slapstick has remained consistent since 1958. There are worse things to be compared to.

Fruitbat always answers and even offers commentary.
He just has no balls to do so here and as his most recent post indicates, he walks into a room, says his peace and quickly runs out so as not to hear a comment.
