Setting the record straight

The Hypocritical actions of the Nickel Site that serve to substantiate the lying actions of Linda Brown (that would be the Cosmic Token so all can she how deranged Linda Brown can be)

They could always rename the thread "guano." Sorry. Still bored. Still in pain. Oh well, ComicCon is tomorrow. That should be fun.

I believe that the record on Linda needs to be set straight when it comes to her dogs. It may appear as if it has no bearing on her Father but it does....immensely. On a recent post:

http://www.cosmic-token.com/forum/viewt ... 424#p34424

From the desk of the CEO wrote:<snip>
Its been my experience ( after 25 years of seeing Yorkie puppies grow up) that GENERALLY at nine weeks if you double their weight that figure will be their adult weight. The pups are 10 weeks old right now... plus a couple of days.... so I really do not think that any of them will go past 6 pounds at their finish weight. ( Of course thats if their new families don't over feed them!)
<snip>

It was told by Linda, to several individuals as well, that twigsnapper got her started in raising Yorkies and that he raised them himself. He gave her first stud, Dapperzing, to start her breeding. She never did mention where the dames came from.

Now, if memory serves me correctly, on the ttbrown forum, twigsnapper did not make his appearance known to Linda until after Paul started to write the book. If Paul got in touch with Linda around 2003, then by my math, Linda did not meet twigsnapper till sometime after that. Therefore, that would mean the longest she had Dapperzing and started her own kennel would be 12 years.

Where did the 25 come from?

Of course one answer that comes to mind would be that she had the kennel longer and that the twigsnapper story of helping her to get started to raise Yorkies is not true owing to the fact that it has come to light that the person identified as him, as personally told me, is not who Linda says he is. However, Harold, his name, was used by Linda as the model for twigsnapper, it is quite possible that Harold did purchase Dapperzing.

twigsnapper first appeared on the ttbrown/forum as below:

I met Townsend Brown many years ago. I was a young man then and impressed very much with the military. When I met Brown he was out of his element and into mine and I was supposed to be his military escort. Turned out he taught me more about courage than any miltary leader ever has, and you are right Neenie, he was afraid of nothing. I expect as his story unfolds that will be one mark of his character that remained strong. Twigsnapper

Paul's first post on the ttbrown forum was on Thu Mar 17, 2005 1:16 pm which was a response to an anonymous poster that was made on Thu Jan 06, 2005 9:14 am. What does this mean?

It means that the forum began sometime around January of 2005. Prior to all of this, Paul had been in communication with Morgan via anonymous emails and this is also the time period that twigsnapper made his presence known.

A modest mention of 25 years by Linda is a slip or an exaggeration. In either case, if it is a memory slip, which I doubt for how can one miss the mark by over half?

A conclusion that can be drawn is that twigsnapper never gave her a dog named Dapperzing, since he didn't exist and that the source of the dog is someone else or she just bought it herself. In any scenario, how can a simple thing as talking about dogs be so important? Because it shows that even in the simplest things there is confusion. Therefore, how confident can anyone be with her memory on more complex subjects?

I'll just throw in a few facts as well, since you brought it up.

Linda Leach was attempting to raise Bengal cats prior to Yorkies. That didn't pan out very well. Before that was an associates degree, and karate. Both no go.

I was there in the beginning helping Linda Leach get started on breeding Yorkies. I drove her around the region more than once looking at possible breedable dogs, and I invested in one of the first females.

That was after they moved to Yucca Valley, and after I moved to California, which was in late 1998.

So, that makes a maximum of just under 17 years by my count. I have more exact dates in my diaries, but that will do for now.

Yes, but I really don't know if Harold had anything to do with Dapper.

Good afternoon all. It is a beautiful today, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the rabbits are hopping, and I feel pretty good. (Cat, I hope your pain has lessened. Today is day 6 of no pain pills for me YAY!!!!)
I have been going through old pics on my iPad so I can clear it out a bit. I found a picture I thought I would share with y'all. Strange how "things bubble to the surface." LOL

It took me quite a while to identify all the people in this picture, but now I see things so much clearer. How did anyone miss this before. Kim

Hello Kevin, as to Mr. Unidentified, he is a mystery. I was actually referring to someone else at the table. His coloring is a bit dark so he may be hard to make out. I've heard he may be German.
As to your second question, I don't remember you saying that but I will look around and see what I can find. I'm pretty good at finding things LOL. Kim

Yay, Kim! You have turned a corner! Such good news!

One of the two men marked unidentified looks like the son of the man next to him. The other is a bit older, but I would have to enlarge the picture to get a good look at him. And then, by my count of seats at the table, it looks like there are another two people who aren't in the photograph, one at the end of the table to Townsend's left and one who would have been sitting directly across for him.

Mikado, thanks for the Meinez links. There is a good chance I will be at Penn State for a few days this autumn, so I'll try to make time to trek to the (engineering?) library and give them a read.

Hi Kim,
Still in pain, unfortunately. I think the rotator cuff is just very inflamed. We have had so much wet weather lately that all my owies are acting up. I also yanked the shoulder on the light rail train today. It was standing room only coming back from ComicCon, and I hadn't grabbed a handhold when the train took off. Natural reaction was grab both poles next to me, but the acceleration really jerked both arms. I'm very happy to hear that you're seeing improvement. That's truly a blessing.
