Don't know if you know about this book or have heard about the guy who wrote it :
"Shifting Frequencies - Sounds for Vibratory Activation" by Jonathan Goldman (some of this book's pages can be read here : http://books.google.pt/books?id=Lb4OvBf ... &q&f=false )

From Wikipedia’s entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Goldman one can learn that "His career spans over 30 years. In 2011, he was listed by the Watkins Review as one of the 100 Most Spiritually Influential People in the World."
Whatever that may mean.

In 2010 he published a book titled "The Divine Name: The Sound That Can Change the World".

In a site "dedicated" to promote the book, it can be read that
"Jonathan Goldman made a incredible discovery of the Divine Name, a universal sound that, when intoned, can bring harmony and healing to ourselves and the planet. This name, encoded within our DNA, is the personal name of God, once found in the religious texts that link over half the world’s population."

If you want to peruse the contents of this book, you can do it here http://books.google.pt/books?id=1pKC0Am ... &q&f=false

A wacko ? doesn't seem so. At all. Then again, what do I know ?

He is not the only one to think about “sound” being a healer and interfering in stuff.
Is he ?

I am thinking about how a Rife machine works.

Am also very interested in this “Rife Machine” thing ! Not exactly the apparatus (out of my league) but the concepts and research behind it, for there is simply too much going on – or “having going on” - around “sound”(frequencies ?) for this to simply be "delusional garbage". I'm a completely newbie in this area, this stuff hadn't even ccrossed my mind till some months ago but now I simply can't get enough of it.

(btw, can those machines be "programmed", or tuned, to whichever frequencies, do you happen to know, or are they just "players" for whatever ones were in it "recorded" ?)

What follows are some articles which maybe you might find interesting in your Rife “thinking” process .. if you haven’t already known about them that is.

1 - The Consolidated Annotated Frequency List (CAFL) by Brian McInturff
The book includes the CAFL, the NCFL, the CAFL Cross Reference, an Introduction to Bioelectronic Therapy Devices, James Bare's "Understanding Our Frequencies Through Harmonics Associations", and "Electrical and Frequency Effects on Pathogens."
Full list of frequencies here : http://www.electroherbalism.com/Bioelec ... -05-16.pdf

3 - Pain Management with Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields by William Pawluk, M.D., MSc : http://www.thehealinguniverse.com/library/116bem.doc

4 - Low-intensity Millimeter Waves in Biology and Medicine by O. V. Betskii and N. N. Lebedeva : http://www.thehealinguniverse.com/library/115bem.doc

The rife machine has an audio input jack, ergo, it will play whatever and transmits it to an antenna that the patient is in close proximity to. How the frequencies are derived I am not sure off the top of my head.

I will post some photos of the machine I have....after I take them. Maybe this weekend. I have a new camera and program so I have to learn it.
