The Time Machine

I was listening to the soundtrack from The Time Machine tonight. I found myself wondering if humans face a future of being divided into light dwellers and dark dwellers, with the dark dwellers resorting to cannibalism as in the story. The balance between light and dark is ever shifting, and world's unknown to us may very well exist. Just the pawnderings of a melancholy feline.

I'm pretty sure world's unknown to us do exist. And that balance between light and dark is ever shifting.

Hope you're faring well, Cat.

I'm still landing on my feet most of the time. Last week being an exception when I slipped on the ice. Celebrated the youngest granddaughter's birthday today. The big 05. Lunch, shopping and seeing the new Cinderella movie.

Cat,

If you go to the movie, would you be kind enough to give your thoughts about it? Either here or in a PM. I have 3 grand daughters and I think they might enjoy it.

Thanks,

Mikado

I loved the new Cinderella movie. It tells the familiar story without being cheesy or over the top a large Drew Barrymore. The characters are believable, and the bits of comic relief flow quite naturally. The ending is still happy, without being saccharine sweet. The costumes are quite believable as well. Just ordinary period attire for the most part. The notable exception being the step-sisters, but that's part of the comic relief. I think girls and women of all ages would enjoy it. My twelve year old grandson even rated it "okay."
